Ella was born in Italy and raised in various old-as-heck schools around Europe, which in hindsight was probably her dark academia villain

origin story. She’s been writing angsty romances while listening to 2000’s pop-rock since before she really had any business doing so. The soundtrack hasn’t changed much (the 2000s gave us some absolute bops and that’s a hill she’ll die on), but the romance has gotten queerer and spicier.

She writes morally grey MMCs and FMCs with a strong eldest-daughter energy, all the found families, queer-positive stories, endless banter, and enemies-to-lovers tension.
